So the alarm went off at 5 am today even though I was not going to work. I don’t change the alarm as I would probably forget to turn it back on the next day. Didn’t someone say it was good to keep a routine? I do tend to do that myself, though I give myself a 1hr sleep in on the weekends, 6 is late enough on Saturday and Sunday.
I started the day off with a 4.5 km walk after my obligatory coffee, I am drinking a single origin from Market Lane Coffee at the moment.
Generally, on a weekday I would start the day with a man shake, they taste delicious and fill me up as well. Today though I had a bit more time so I whipped up an Eggs Benedict, this is my all-time favourite breakfast meal. I have to admit that the bacon that I get from the Hanwood Butchery not so far from home is one of the best bacon that I have eaten. They are on Facebook so look them up.

As you can see I snuck in another small single origin again too :). And yes that is on Anna’s sourdough again. That is the last of the loaf and I have to let her know we need some more cooked.
After the appointments that I had this morning I met up for lunch at her daughter’s business Hunky Dory . This is a cafe and play centre for kids. They make the best Iced Coffee and being a coffee fanatic that is my first choice. They also do an excellent double-shot espresso as well.
It has been a bit of a granddaughter’s afternoon though, firstly with Miss S, we walked from Hunkies to K-mart and shopped for a small toy. Then walked home where we watched a bit of TV and played with the new doll we bought. Then we walked back to Hunkies… followed by a walk home for myself.. and yes I did do a few steps today. After school Miss O turned up for a few hours.. she sat down and watched some YouTube clips and ate the snacks in her bag. And as always wanted to draw!
