Get Ya Mojo Back

Life is an interesting journey. It knocks you down, and you have to drag yourself up again. I have had a few health issues lately with a kidney stone. I am up to stint number two and it has been unpleasant to say the least. I have been feeling really low and unhappy about the whole situation. But like anything there is always something you can do and someone that you can talk to.

My partner in crime is Anna, my partner. She is the best person that I have by my side. And it was her that came up with a simple solution to my woes. A few words and she has me on track again. Before her words of wisdom, I was feeling hopeless and not doing the things I love. I now have a better outlook on life again

My Mojo is my photography and I feel that I can reach out to that again. I have plans and see away forward that I couldn’t a few days ago.

If you or any one you know are having mental health issues I urge you to contact someone. An few contacts are Beyond Blue 1300 22 4636 and Life Line 131114 Please reach out.

After a rotten Saturday, I had a wonderful Sunday with a new mindset. Anna, The girls, and I, went for a bit of a drive . Though it was mainly to see the new murals on Banna Lane. A first stop was to feed the midgets. A not so quick drive through Maccas (which is damn expensive now) and then to Banna Lane. The new murals are a delight and make the town so bright. It is well worth the drive down there to have a look. Shout out to Carah who is the force behind this project.

We then went up to see the water tower at the top of Scenic Hill. This point of interest was a mural on said water tower. And was a project in conjunction with maintience work that was carried out on the tower. There was a lot of talk about the huge cost, but people were thinking that the total cost of the whole project and not the smalll portion that went to the artwork. Anyway Heesco well done on lighting the path into town.

I feel lucky to live i Australia, We have just had our federal elections and an emphatic win by the Labour party. Lets hope that they run the country well. I am looking forward to the swearing in of the new cabinet of the Albanese government so that I can lobby for the arts in Australia. An I promise that I will be looking out and doing that lobbying.

I think I have watched YouTube to death or I just dont know what to search. But I find that there is little that I want to watch on the box these days and that I have to turn that few short hours in to somethig more productive. Look out world!! I will write (I am still work on the semi-autobigraphial novel) and I might even go and do some dusk shots inn town. There has to be more thante TV.

I also think I have to do a movie or two – I wanted to see the move called “The Correspondent” but withh the small woes that I have been experiences I forgot all about it and that oppurtunity was missed. I will also need to pursue the whats coming section of our local cinema website – I just subscribed to their newletter so that will help!!

Remember to LOVE LIFE!!
