If you were like Anna and I we used to leave a light on at night, of course, I rise early 5 am during the working week and I like a wee lie-in on Saturday and Sunday to around 6 am. You really need to take advantage of the weekends, at both those times in winter it is dark. Now with power prices going up another 9.6 cents a kilowatt, which I reckon is around 33%, not the 25% that has been sprouted in the media. you really have to take care of the power bill.
Still the idea of a ‘night light’ is pretty appealing for those pee trips and midnight snacks/drinks.
Dotted around our house are Himalayan pink salt lamps. Not only do they provide a soft light, but also consume little energy (especially if fitted with an led lamp for around 11 dollars at Bunnings and last a lot longer than the tungsten incandescent versions) they provide an aesthetic that is hard to match.

I am an online purchaser as I have little time to shop during the week I work long hours and just can’t catch the shops too often. Also, there may be nowhere that sells them in some rural towns and cities so I suggest my affiliate link to Amazon and click here for your purchase.
I hope that you will look into this little night light and decor tweak for your house.
Remember to LOVE LIFE!!
Will try having a look for one
Love the peaceful glow of salt lamps
Think I can get one in Redcliffe. I’m trying to get less not more in my unit.
My Himalayan light goes 24/7 here too!
Love it.
