Super Saturday!

Well, that is what Michelle Bridges called it. It was the day that extra effort into your exercise.

Do you ever have an alarm go off to wake you and feel totally disorientated? I have to say that was my wake-up this morning. I was sure I had to go to work but did the mental check for a few minutes and came up with Saturday. Thank goodness for that, I don’t think I could do another day. I would have hated to have worked in Dickens’ time.

Well I had to try the toaster in a new plug, it wasn’t like Einstein’s insanity theory – “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” As I said I tried a different plug, only in so much as to see if it was the power-point and not the toaster.

So it was a sort of normal Saturday morning or rather early morning. With the toaster on the fritz, my desire for an Eggs Benedict was a no-goer. A trip to McDonalds was in order for a sausage McMuffin and hashbrowns.

After that quick bite to eat off to Hanwood to the butchers, I loaded up with a Waygu scotch fillet, a few more pieces of Osso Buco, bacon and some chuck steak cubes. I am going to attempt to create a real Texas chilli. I have dried some Cayenne peppers and they are ready to go.

A quick trip home to drop things off and the formal advice I received was that I needed a haircut. Off I went to Pepe’s for a trim. A look in the mirror, when I got back, told me that I looked much better presented. No longer homeless I started my next set of chores.

I had some scripts that needed filling so off to the chemist for that. Job Done

Anna’s Hyundai has Apple car play. It has been playing up and works intermittently more not than working. I headed to 3C Tech Shop https://www.3ctechshop.com.au/ and picked up a new, Apple original USB cable. This failed to make car play work as well. So it goes for a service in about two weeks and I can honestly tell them that the phone is up to date. I have reset car play on the phone, and I have tried a new cable. I don’t see any more options that I can try.

The toaster problem has been resolved with a trip to Kmart. And 25 Bucks later new toaster.

We got a call from Mrs T and were asked to pick up Master J, so of we headed to Hunky Dory https://hunkydorygriffith.com.au/. We met up with a bit of family there, not that we were expecting to. It turned into an hour and a half food and talk fest. If you are there at Hunkies ask Andreha to make you an iced coffee the way Anthony likes it.

So we picked up Master J and strapped him in for the drive. Within 400 meters he was asleep. We took Ms S and her family out to where they were doing salami and then drove back into town via Ted Scobbie oval Google Maps Plus Code is – P3GG+M7 Griffith, New South Wales. Back home we put Master J to bed and Anna started to make bread. we got a call to get Masters M & J C to pick up and look after.

After a quiet afternoon, we headed off to M & A’s place for dinner. way too noisy for me, and lots of kids running around.

After dinner was done we have come home and we will sit down and watch some NPYD Blues
