As usual, I have been working and resting. I have a new job and am of the fork, but my other fork never lets up. I love my food and possibly too much.
I went to Indian the other night, A treat from Mr and Mrs T at Swaad Punjab Da in Griffith. The food was probably the best Indian that I have had in a while. It was class. If you are in town or a local I recommend this place. Don’t get me wrong though for good cheap Indian, I still love Apra.
So what is my new job you may ask. Well, it is the export coordinator at Dee Vine. I have been on and off at Dee Vine for around 5 and a half years now. Started off there as a cellar hand during vintage running the presses and moved to the bottling line. back and forth for a few years doing other jobs and three vintages later I was back on the bottling line driving the fork. Now I am in the office doing export.
Export is a bit slow at the moment and I have been asked to help with logistics for a bit doing some mail orders for Mr P. Bring it on!!
I have trouble mowing the lawn these days just get home on the weekend and don’t have the motivation. I have to snap out of that and get my mind into gear.
Anna’s boss is treating us to a night on the town and I hope to go to the Bull and Bell a steak house in Griffith. I am always up for a steak. And the fact that I love a piece of meat be it beef, chicken, pork or fish is all the excuse I need.
I am waiting for a date for my surgery and I am about halfway through my wait. I was told 6 months and I am nearly at the 3 month wait. I have to have my gallbladder removed and I can’t wait. You have no idea the pain that happens when you have a gallbladder attack. It is excruciating. When I saw the surgeon, who has had his gallbladder removed as well he said that the pain was worse than a heart attack, now not knowing what a heart attack feels like I can’t say that it is from personal experience, but it is the worse pain that I have experienced.
Next Wednesday I am off to the urologist for a bit of a male problem, is that even a thing, you hear about women’s problems, but do we say ‘male problems’? Anyway, we will wait and see what the outcome of that little excursion is.
I am still photographing and I did enter the National Photographic Portrait Prize this year, but I was not selected as a finalist. the photo is below.

I got a lot of positive feedback from family, but hey that just might be what you expect from supportive family. Anyway, there is next year and I have a few ideas for subjects and we will wait and see how they develop.
Remember to LOVE LIFE!!
