And it is!
I love my weekends, I never get bored of them. When you’re up at 5 am each work day, start at 6 am and never know when you’re going home it is a pleasure to be able to sleep into 5:45 or 6. Yeah, that is true. I can’t sleep in that much. I wish I could but in between a bladder that has its own schedule and an ingrained alarm clock a sleep-in of longer is few and far between.
I was exhausted this week finishing it off with a 6 pm and then a 5 pm finish on Thursday and Friday was just the bomb, NOT!
It turned out to be a hot Saturday Got to 42 and a spit, well it would have been a spit if there was any saliva left in our mouths.
I wanted to try and recreate a photo that I took years ago this morning and I feel I succeded, it is still in the camera and on the screen it appears to be something that I like. I haven’t taken it out as I want another photo that I have envisaged in my mind. I watched the clouds, I am really into clouds in my photos and it is an upwards looking shot through trees. Apart from the fact that I might end up like a turtle on its back, I am sure it will make a stunning photo in black and white. In fact I did some proof of concept this morning and found that colour looks good, I am just not happy with the shots I took this morning.
Sunday
I took Miss O to the art gallery this morning and that was fun. An interesting display of photos and the theme was that we bleed the same. The portraits were stunning and the theme was thought-provoking.
I have to have to have my say on the Palestinian and Israeli war. I am not pro terrorist and I am pro-Palestinian. Terrorists are terrorists and should be dealt with accordingly. But what the Israil is doing to the people of Gaza is nothing short of war crimes. I am sorry if that offends people but so be it. There needs to be a better solution than collective punishment and the slaughter of innocent children and women.
