So it was a typical Sunday morning, up at 6 and off for a short work after that coffee.
I had an errand to do as we had no milk and Miss O had spent the night. It is a usual Saturday night event for Miss O to spend her Saturday night here.
I copped a bit of strife here this morning. I thought I was doing a good thing going to get Milk and unloading the dishwasher. It turns out it isn’t a good thing to make too much noise when you’re doing it. I blame the AirPods. They were cranking and I couldn’t hear the noise I was making. So much for good deeds.
We made some fresh juice this morning. Orange, carrot, celery, and green apple, along with a bit of turmeric and ginger. The results are liquid gold.

Anna had got the sourdough ready overnight and took it out of the fridge to rest. Anna put it in the oven as I took the trailer to the tip. This reminds me why everything I have to do becomes such a drama. Just put the towbar on and hook up. It is a pretty simple task that isn’t worth mentioning. Not so simple, the d-shackles that connected the chain to the car from the trailer were missing. Okay swap cars and get some more. By the time I was done at the tip, the bread was ready to eat when I got home. There was fruit, nut and chocolate, a confit garlic, and plain sourdough loaves.

The bread is great as usual, nothing beats Anna’s home made sourdough and you have to love the confit garlic version 🙂
To finish out the day, I have picked up my novel and intend to have scotch fillet steak (from Hanwood butchery of course) and sweet potato fries (smothered in garlic aioli – you can never have enough garlic) and watch a bit of NYPD Blues. Here is to you Det. Andy Sipowicz!!
Remember to LOVE LIFE!!
Damn straight you made to much noise lol
Well that’s a full day if ever I heard one. Do you ever think of the cholesterol running through your arteries, Anthony.
I had a cholesterol test with my other blood test recently. The Dr was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have an issue with that
Well that’s good to know. I worry about those sort of things when you’re eating so well. I’m sure you know what your doing.
Forgot to mention ur wonderful SIL came for visit and devoured the delectable fruit & choc sourdough- toasted with lashings of butter….. Mmmmm yummy!
Grace I will keep you in mind for futures posts 🙂
